Well, it was the closest poll so far that it’s almost a tie. However, based on emails, comments, and poll (106-116), Kyle Gass got the edge and was voted as your woofiest member of Tenacious D. Two Woofy Tuesday is on a brief hiatus and in its place is Beary Yummy Seconds (I have a Filipino accent, you see). Also, this is a way for me to finally voice my own opinion on who I would have voted.
The very first poll was the popularity contest between shot putters, Manuel Martinez and Christian Cantwell. Unfortunately, I was still learning with running the polls so I prematurely ended the poll the very next day instead of next week. Nevertheless, I tracked the poll until the following week and Christian won all the way. As for who I would have voted, I would have picked Manuel Martinez, hands down. Christian definitely possesses that perfect bear physique, but Manuel has this beefy and stocky build that’s covered with magnificent fur that never fails to wow me. I definitely can’t wait to see him in his acting debut.

I tend to give myself a blog break on Sundays and Mondays. But it looks like I’m gonna be forced to post something on Mondays, as I seemed to have gotten a case of the Moondays — or in this case, Goonday Moondays. (Need a refresher on what a goon is?) Also, I have been lax and inconsiderate in not adding the great Bullneck in my “Bear Blog” links. So this new regular post is dedicated to the expert of all things “bullgoon”…
Also, if you guys have some clever pun that I can use on Sundays, feel free to drop me a line. Though part of me is hoping to high heaven that you don’t encourage me. I’d like to take some break from da bears from time to time… ^_^

I was already a big fan of Barry Corbin when I saw WarGames when I was 11 years old (man, I lost count as to how many times I’ve seen this as a kid), so imagine my pleasant surprise when I found him shirtless in My Science Project. As a pre-’80s tween-geek, if you would watch a movie like WarGames then it follows that you had a 100% probability that you knew you wanted to see My Science Project.
Richard Masur was definitely one of my earliest crushes. He and Bruce McGill really knew how to sport a very bushy moustache…

It’s interesting that I just got this email because I just saw Slumdog Millionaire for the 5th time last night. I just have to say that it is my favorite movie of 2008. If I have a Top 10 list, it would be my Number 1 film. It’s that good.
Anyway, I’m probably trying too hard to make a connection about the following Indian wrestlers photos with a film shot in India. However, it’s also a chance for me to ask the Eagle-Eyed Scouts out there — or, rather, Bear-Eyed Scouts — to direct me to the name of that big bearish bodyguard. His character was called “Punnoose” but I think IMDb is incorrect with the actor’s name (Uday Chopra) as he does not look remotely like him.
